Okay, once again, let's all pray for good numbers. And let's be specific this time: pray they will be and stay good. Once when I lived in Tucson and Audrey lived in Louisville, she was praying for snow (hoping to get out of school for a day). She asked me to pray for snow as well. I did. It snowed. In Tucson (first time in 20 years or something). She always reminds me to be careful and specific.
Clinic tomorrow. Kinsey is showing some signs of low platelets (as expected) but no E.R. visit tonight (yet). The doc was hoping she could hold off until tomorrow. I even had her brush her own teeth with her finger so afraid I was of starting a bleed. She and Jillian have both had fevers all day, Kinsey's between 99 and 102 and Jillian's between 100 and 104.5. However, both seem to feel pretty okay considering. All in all, a very calm day. After my root canal, I came home and Kinsey and I slept until after noon.
Kathy Wyatt from Channel 13 is coming on Friday afternoon and Kinsey is very excited! She's picked out a dress and has asked me to fix her hair. She's quite the little drama queen and is already planning to ask Kathy lots of questions, too. Yesterday at the hospital when Ms. Kim, her hospital school teacher stopped by to schedule a time for Kinsey to "go to school" in her room, Kinsey said, "Mama, hurry. I have to get dressed." Audrey said, "What?" She said, "I can't go to school in my pajamas!" So we got her dressed for school, which is the only thing about the hospital she misses. She has said so many times today, "I'm so glad to be home." We are too. Remember, good numbers, moving up, and continuing that direction. Thanks!
