She really wanted to have a campout tonight, so we set the tent up in the living room. She has big plans for playing games, working puzzles, watching a video, eating pizza and popcorn, all inside the tent. And of course sleeping in it all night as well, interrupted by her hour-long 6:30 IV meds. Jillian, Ann, and I played Hungry Hippos and read several books (Jillian likes reading the same ones over and over). It's now 8:30 and all is still quiet downstairs. So we will either postpone the camp out festivities or it's going to be a late night. Kinsey may wake up and be ready to party. She's been really tired the last couple of days, though. More than usual. She took a 3 1/2 hour nap yesterday and still had no problem going to bed. Like with us, I think some of this is catching up with her.
But she's already talking about how this horrible disease and medication, etc. is not going to last "a year" because it's already been a month. "So there should only be 11 months left." True. We hope. We pray. The glass is not empty.
I hear her waking up. Better go see if the party is on.... More later.
